Can used belt replace a belt on a working conveyor?

Yes — for lightly used or working-condition stock, this is one of the main reasons customers buy it, as a lower-cost alternative to new belting. We do not publish a residual strength rating on used belt. If the application is critical (high tension, long centre distance, continuous duty), inspect the belt yourself or have it assessed before committing it to service.

What do you need to quote used conveyor belt?

The intended use (conveyor replacement, flooring or agricultural use), the width and length required, and the minimum condition you'll accept. For a conveyor replacement, also send the belt speed and duty so we can point you to stock actually suited to it, not just the right width.

Is used belt suitable for farm or matting use?

Yes — this is a common use for belt that is past reliable conveyor duty but still structurally sound: floor matting, bunker covers, silage sheeting, cattle grids and similar static or low-load applications. Tell us the use and we'll offer belt from the appropriate condition grade, usually at a lower cost than belt graded for conveyor replacement.

Do you carry used belt in stock, or source it to order?

Both — available stock changes as conveyors are decommissioned and belt comes in. Send your requirement and we'll confirm what's currently in stock, or give you an expected timeframe if we need to source it.

What used conveyor belting covers

Used-belt condition and residual strength are not guaranteed or rated — condition grading is Kia-Kaha Mining's own assessment at time of sale, not a certification. For load-bearing conveyor duty, the buyer is responsible for confirming the belt is fit for the application.
