Tensile rating

The rated full-belt breaking strength of a conveyor belt, in kilonewtons per metre of width (kN/m).

Written before the ply count, e.g. the 800 in EP 800/4. The working tension must stay well below this — belt selection applies a safety factor for the splice type and duty.
